A management mode for controlling the L&U gas is established by setting the management of terminal measuring management as a core, taking targets decomposing and examining at all levels as an effective measure and adopting technical measures as guarantee. A two-level comparison system for upstream measurement and several measurement systems in downstream regions has been formed. In this way a prediction system of gas demand is set up basically, with which the targets of L&U gas are under control essentially and are reduced efficiently, making a great contribution to improving economic benefits of the Company. The L&U gas of artificial coal gas dropped down from 12 % in 2001 to 9.42% in 2006 and the L&U gas of natural gas dropped down from 12.3 % in 2001 to 8.99 % in 2006 respectively.
