The Company always takes informationization as one of important development strategies and constantly speeds up the construction of informationization. During the tenth Five-Year Plan period the Company invested about RMB 18 million yuan in the construction of information management platform, which provides effective information channels for business operation, strengthens the capacity of fast response and improves the transparency of decision making and integral management skill in the Company.

The information management platform in the Company consists of the following three parts: One is the center of service, or the center of user information management, which deals with residential and company business, accounting, meter recording and repair service systems. The other part is production, operation, transmission and distribution part, which includes the automation, SCADA and GIS systems of dispatch center, measuring station and pressure regulating station. The third part is office automation, in which the management systems of finance, contract, material supply, human resource and archives are involved.
